Ervin Eleskovic

Ervin Eleskovic, Swedish tennis player, made his debut in Davis Cup this week. Early on in his first game he went for a ball and suddenly fell to the ground. The national team doctor quickly established that left knee ACL was torn and Eleskovic had to be carried off court. In the absence of our usual tennis star Robin Söderling, Eleskovic was given the chance to prove himself. He's been called "the future of Swedish tennis" and "super talent" by media and people in the know-how. Born 1987, 23 years old, his debut turned out to be a nightmare and he now faces 6-8 months rehab following the reconstructive surgery. However,I'm sure he'll come back. He's young and as a national team player you have all the best people around you.

All the best, Ervin.
